TGIF!

Happy Friday! The rainy weather on the east coast is SUCH a bummer this week, right? I was beautiful fall weather, not rainboots every day! I can't even tell if the leaves in Central Park are changing yet.

Since it's October 1st and we don't seem to be having any more of those crazy 88 degree days, I'm going to say that it's now OFFICIALLY fall, as made my first apple crisp of the season and I'm planning to make chili for dinner tonight. AND I think I've successfully convinced Danny to get out of the city and go apple picking with me tomorrow! Who needs football when you can spend the day tromping around in orchards eating cider donuts?! I might even pull out my favorite Crate & Barrel fall leaves and decorate the apartment a little bit tonight to get us in the mood. Fall and Christmas are the only house decorations I own because you can leave them up for a long time, unlike holidays such as Easter or the 4th of July (it would be very odd to put your bunny things out from February until April, but my leaves and bittersweet can be out from September through November!)

I know, don't you all think I'm the coolest person ever, spending a whole paragraph talking about my house decorations when I haven't blogged for 3 weeks? :)
